My name is Erica Zigon, but everyone calls me Zigs. I am the founder of “We’ve Got You Covered”.  I am 23 years old from Babylon, New York.  I graduated with a business degree from Saint Leo University in Tampa. When I am not out spreading love to the homeless community, im either traveling around the world or jamming with my band The Zigons. I started this organization one night when I was walking on the streets of NYC around Christmas time. The streets were filled with people living on the streets and it was freezing out. After that night I knew I had to do something about it.

The easiest thing I knew to do was to collect some blankets and sleeping bags locally, take the train to the city and physically go hand them out to people in need. When handing items out I always ask people what their name is, where they are from, what do they need and what is it like being out here? It’s really important to get related to what they go through on a daily basis. I like to call this a non- profit campaign because I want this to be in every city nationwide, and one day worldwide.
